Project enquiries
Email quote form
The email inquiry form collects your name, email, service, city/state or country and project description. Website, timing/timezone and budget are optional. When you submit, these details are sent to contact@startmyweb.online so StartMyWeb can review and respond to your inquiry. StartMyWeb operates from Bengaluru, India, and uses website-hosting and email services to process the request. An internal inquiry alert, including your name, supplied phone number or contact email, service, supplied location, timing, budget, a short project excerpt and a link to the private inquiry record, is also sent to StartMyWeb’s own WhatsApp account through its self-hosted OpenWA gateway. WhatsApp/Meta processes these alert messages. This supports project follow-up and does not subscribe you to marketing or send a WhatsApp message to you automatically.
After launch, inquiry details are stored in an administrator-only WordPress register for follow-up. Repeat requests from the same normalized phone number (or email address for email enquiries) reuse a prospect record, with up to 20 recent request entries. StartMyWeb reviews inactive inquiries for deletion within 12 months of the last contact unless a client relationship or legal record-keeping need requires retention. Preview tests are excluded from this register. A random receipt marker is kept temporarily for up to 30 minutes. A salted, non-plain-text address-based rate-limit key is kept for up to 15 minutes to limit repeated submissions. Hosting/security logs and the received email are separate records. Do not include passwords or sensitive client information.
Floating WhatsApp project survey
The WhatsApp icon opens a seven-step survey. It collects your service, goal, budget, timing, business/project name, project brief, name and required phone number including country code. Budget can be left blank for guidance and a website link is optional. The survey does not ask for an email address. Answers remain in the page until you review them, acknowledge inquiry-data use and choose Send enquiry. The website then saves the inquiry privately, hands it to our business email and sends an internal WhatsApp alert through OpenWA. A confirmation reference is shown. This does not start a marketing subscription.
Optional WhatsApp planner
The planner asks what you need, your budget and your timing. You add a business or project name, a short brief and your name. A website link and email address are optional.
Your browser prepares the brief. It does not send it to StartMyWeb. You choose whether to copy it or open WhatsApp. To send an enquiry, you must tap Send in WhatsApp.
We use the details you send through WhatsApp or another agreed channel to understand your enquiry, reply and discuss the work. Do not include passwords, card details or sensitive personal data in your brief.
Browsing, hosting and necessary cookies
When you open a page, your browser makes a request. That request can include your IP address, browser details, the page and the time. Hosting and security services may use these details to deliver the site, find errors and protect it.
WordPress uses necessary cookies for features such as admin sign-in. Which cookies are used, and how long they last, depends on the feature you use.
Google services, advertising and consent
The site currently includes Google AdSense account-verification metadata. This confirms the publisher account associated with the site; it does not by itself mean that advertising is being displayed on every page.
If Google AdSense or other Google advertising services are enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalise or measure ads in accordance with the settings and consent available for the visitor. Where consent is required for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, StartMyWeb will use an appropriate consent mechanism before personalised advertising or other consent-dependent processing is used.

Analytics and measurement
Google Analytics 4 is prepared to measure page visits and inquiry actions after you allow analytics. Until you allow it, the analytics tag does not load. You can reject analytics or change your choice using Privacy settings. A browser choice is stored locally for up to 180 days. After consent, Analytics may use first-party cookies for up to 90 days. Advertising personalization is disabled. We send clean page addresses and general action labels, not your form answers, email address or WhatsApp message. A WhatsApp click is an interaction, not a confirmed inquiry. Draft previews do not send analytics events.
Third-party services and links
Opening WhatsApp shares the information in the link with that service; sending a message is governed by WhatsApp’s own operation and privacy terms. The website also links to external sites, including photographer credits, portfolio services and official reference material. Those sites operate under their own policies.
Where a page loads fonts or other assets from an external provider, your browser requests those resources from that provider, which can receive technical connection information. The site uses Google Fonts. Google’s Privacy Policy explains its handling of information.
Project records and access
Your project messages may become records of an enquiry or agreed work. How long we keep them, and who can access them, depends on the channel, project and any rules that apply to those records. Contact StartMyWeb to ask about information you have supplied or request a correction or deletion; third-party services may require a separate request through their own controls.
